Helping Our Veterans
It is with great pleasure that the Fontana Foundation of Hope supports the Heroes Warehouse Organization. The work they do to help our local veterans is an example to follow, we can always do more for our country’s veterans who have given so much.
The Fontana Foundation of Hope’s support directly went to purchase a box truck to help Heroes Warehouse with the daily pick ups and deliveries of furnishings to our veterans. Also included was a purchase of a power lift-gate to make the work more efficient and a full vehicle wrap with the Heroes Warehouse branding to help bring more awareness of this valuable organization.
The purpose of Heroes Warehouse is to furnish veterans and their families with essentials (refrigerators, furniture, clothing, etc.) They need when moving into permanent housing for the first time. Heroes Warehouse accepts donated items such as appliances, microwaves, refrigerators, and furniture, as well as gift cards and financial contributions which enable them to continue their mission.
